Strathbogie Shire
Renowned for its collection of historic buildings, Euroa is nestled at the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges on the banks of the Seven Creeks. As well as being famous because of the Kelly Gang bank robbery, the region also has a rich history as one of the nation's leading wool producing communities. Eliza Forlonge pioneered the introduction of fine-wool Saxon Merino sheep at Seven Creeks in 1851.
