With its extensive collection of Kellyana, this is the best place to research the life and times of Ned Kelly. The highlight of the exhibition is the authentic blood stained green silk sash (cummerbund) awarded to Ned at the age of eleven for saving a six year old boy (Richard Shelton) from drowning at Avenal and worn by Ned Kelly at the Glenrowan Siege in 1880.
The portable police cell in which Ned Kelly was imprisoned, the witness box from the old Benalla Courthousein which Ned Kelly stood, a Kelly bridle recovered from Glenrowan, firearms and other possessions of the Kelly Gang.
